A multi-talent among sensors

Capacitive proximity switches from di-soric can detect virtually anything

The new KNS capacitive standard sensors detect solid, liquid, pulverized, electrically conductive and nonconductive objects and substances with equal reliability. They provide absolute reliability and process security—detecting through nonconductive container walls, barriers and packaging. The sensors are housed in a robust stainless steel housing. Their sensitivity can be adjusted very easily using a potentiometer.

The capacitive proximity switches of the KNSseries from di-soric are available in a variety of installation designs, with a diameter of 6.5 millimeters (flush/non-flush) and metric thread dimensions of M8 (flush/non-flush) and M12 (flush only). The capacitive KNS sensors feature a high nominal switching distance (2 mm). The switching distance is configured using a multiturn potentiometer. The NO/NC function can be switched using the potentiometer.

Even in adverse and frequently changing ambient conditions, the virtually indestructible sensors (in either IP65 or IP67 protection class) represent maximum availability. They are used in almost all areas of mechanical engineering, system construction and the automation industry. The compact sensors can be installed quickly using a cable and a 3-pin connector (4-pin for M12 variant!). They feature a push-pull output (pnp + npn) and include a universal setting tool.

The capacitive proximity switches from di-soric stand out for their well-balanced price/performance ratio, which is achieved thanks to their high quality, reliability and intuitive operability.
