More speed, precision and flexibility in V4A

di-soric has the fork light barriers offering the best performance

di-soric is the only manufacturer to offer new LED fork light barriers with IO-Link in a rugged stainless steel housing. The compact light barriers with available fork openings of 30, 50, 80 and 120 mm are also the fastest, most precise of their kind. They are easy to install and operate and the IO-Link interface provides a wealth of convenient configuration and diagnostic options. The versatile fork light barriers really show their strengths in industrial areas requiring exceptional flexibility and high process reliability.

The new fork light barriers from di-soric feature a switching frequency of up to 8000 Hz and reproducibility down to 0.02 mm, giving them the best performance on the market. For monitoring orientation, position or accumulation or for counting applications, the fork light barriers provide precise object detection regardless of surface, even for small parts down to a diameter of 0.2 mm. These abilities allow them to reach a quality level nearly on par with laser light barriers.

The narrow V4 fork light barriers are the same size as standard metal fork light barriers and their dual operating concept lets them offer even faster start-up without any adjustment and incredibly easy configuration and operation via potentiometer or IO-Link. They are especially well-suited to applications in packaging technology, the pharmaceutical industry, cosmetics industry and product feeding. The new fork light barriers make it possible to quickly implement frequent batch changes, requirements for batch sizes of 1 and other critical production parameters.

Four default, ready-to-run sensor modes (Standard, High Resolution, Power, Speed) enable quick and easy immediate use. Activation of IO-Link functionality allows for convenient implementation of learning processes, parameter configuration concepts and preventive diagnostic concepts. Instead of stocking several forks for a variety of applications, application-specific configurations can be saved and loaded into forks as needed. Device replacement follows a similar, straightforward approach.
